Arranging an assessment
Assessment takes place in the outpatient clinic of the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center at Chongqing West District Hospital, 301 Huafu Avenue North Section, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. Call the outpatient line, or use the channel described on the appointments page, and say that you are asking about injected collagen so that the right clinic time is booked.
What the consultation settles
The assessment establishes whether the complaint is volume at all, since descent, a surface change and a loss of support all present as fullness lost and only one of them is answered by this class. It examines the area from more than one angle, reviews what has changed against photographs of your own face, takes a history of previous injectable treatment, and asks about medication, clotting, cold sores and any delayed reaction to a material in the past. You should leave knowing which class is being proposed and why, where the ceiling is, roughly how many visits and how many months are involved, and what the alternatives are including doing nothing.
What to bring
Bring a list of your medication, including anything that affects clotting, and any record of previous injectable treatment with dates and material classes if you have them. Bring photographs of your own face from some years ago, which are more useful here than most people expect. Tell the team about any history of cold sores or of a delayed reaction to an injected material, about any dental or surgical procedure planned in the same area, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
The reviews, and why there is more than one appointment
A review after each session is part of the plan rather than an extra appointment. It is where the last session is judged once it has settled, where the interval to the next one is decided from your own response, and where the question of continuing at all is answered honestly. It is also where a decision to stop, or to have less next time, can be taken before a session is booked.
